Proudly serving you for 70 years!
A heartfelt thanks to all our customers for 70 years of service!
Thank you to each and every one of our customers over the past 70 years.
That is not a formality. A heating and cooling company does not reach seventy years on advertising. It reaches seventy years because people kept calling back, and told other people to call.
What seventy years of customers looks like
In a community the size of Poplar Bluff, the arithmetic is personal. We have installed furnaces in houses where we later installed the air conditioner, then serviced both for the family that bought the house afterward. We have worked on systems in buildings where we did the original install decades ago, for a business now run by the founder's children.
Some of our customers first called us because their parents did. That is the part we are proudest of — not the number of years, but the fact that trust carried across generations on both sides.
What we owe you in return
Being someone's trusted contractor for that long sets obligations, and we try to be clear about them:
- An honest assessment. If your system has years left, we will say so. Recommending a replacement that is not needed might win one sale and lose a customer for good.
- Showing you the problem. You are entitled to see the failed part and understand what went wrong before you approve a repair.
- Doing the unglamorous work properly. Correct sizing, adequate return air, sealed ductwork. None of it is visible when we leave, and all of it determines whether you are comfortable.
- Answering the phone when it matters. Nights, weekends, holidays. A system that fails at a convenient time is the exception.
- Standing behind it. A warranty is only worth as much as the company offering it. We intend to be here.
Staying current is part of the deal
Seventy years of experience is worth little if it means doing things the way they were done in 1970. The equipment has changed enormously — variable-speed systems, heat pumps that work in real cold, communicating controls, indoor air quality equipment that did not exist a generation ago.
That is why our technicians and installers hold NATE certification and EPA certification, why training is continual rather than a one-time event, and why we have maintained Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer status since 2003. That status has to be re-earned; it is not a plaque you hang once.
Part of the community, not just working in it
Our family and our staff are from this area. Our kids go to school here. We are glad to support Sacred Heart Catholic Church and School, and sports through the Poplar Bluff school system.
When your contractor's children attend school with yours, the incentive to do right by you is not abstract.
Thank you
To everyone who has trusted us inside their home or business over seven decades — through three generations of our family and into a fourth — thank you. We do not take it for granted, and we plan to keep earning it.
We are at 110 North Riverview Drive in Poplar Bluff, open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with emergency service on weekends. Call (573) 785-6768 any time.
